Continental AG is a German industrial company founded on 8 October 1871 in Hanover, originally as a rubber-goods maker, that grew into one of the world's largest tire manufacturers and, for decades, a major supplier of automotive electronics, brakes and other parts. Following the 2025 spin-off of its automotive-technology division into a separate company (Aumovio), Continental now focuses on tires and rubber/industrial products under the ContiTech brand. (Forrás)
