"540°" on the Jaecoo 7 is a marketing name for an extended around-the-car view — on top of the standard four-camera 360° image, it adds extra angles, like a view underneath the front of the car that's handy when pulling up to a curb or a ramp.
How many cameras the system uses
- A front camera, a rear camera, and one in each door mirror — the standard 360° set
- Extra image processing that builds a "see-through hood" view, which is where the naming goes beyond a full 360-degree circle
A fault in one of the cameras usually shows up as a blind spot or a distorted section of the image on screen, not a complete loss of the display.
