Chery 1.5 TGDI: which parts are shared across Tiggo, Omoda and Jaecoo

One engine family, four badges and a parts list that overlaps more than the catalogs suggest. What actually interchanges, and where the numbers diverge.

The SQRE4T15C is Chery's 1.5-litre turbocharged four, and it sits in the Tiggo 4 and Tiggo 7, in the Omoda 5, and in the entry Jaecoo. For a workshop this is good news: service parts are largely common, and stock that turns for one model covers the others.

Oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, the timing chain kit and the water pump carry identical factory numbers across all four applications. So does the thermostat housing, which is worth stocking — it is the most common coolant leak on cars past 60,000 km.

Oil filter 481H-1012040 — all applications. Timing chain kit 481H-1021000 — all applications. Water pump 4G15-1307010 — all applications.

The intake path is not shared. Omoda 5 uses a different air box and a shorter charge pipe, and the Jaecoo runs its own intercooler. The engine mount on the gearbox side differs between the manual and the DCT cars, and the turbo actuator calibration is model-specific even though the housing is the same casting.

Check the engine code, not the badge. Two Tiggo 7 cars from the same year can carry different intake parts depending on the market they were built for.
