"Fuel tank" doesn't always mean the whole tank — in practice, the most commonly replaced items are the filler cap, the filler neck hose, or the fuel pump inside the tank, not the tank itself.
Which parts get replaced most often
- Filler cap — a damaged closing mechanism or seal
- Filler neck hose — after mechanical damage, e.g. a rear-end collision
- Fuel pump — with dropping fuel pressure or starting problems
The tank itself is rarely replaced, usually only after serious mechanical damage or corrosion.
See the full parts catalog for the Omoda 5 if you need a specific fuel-system part.
