Fuel tank

0 parts

A fuel tank is the sealed container that stores a vehicle's supply of gasoline or diesel, built either from welded steel or aluminum sheet metal or from blow-molded plastic, which allows more complex shapes. A typical passenger car tank holds around 50-60 liters. It is connected to a carbon canister that captures fuel vapor and is fitted with rollover valves designed to prevent fuel from leaking out in an accident. (Source)
